4th slab complete

Update from Rajesh Ramamurthy,

4th slab, third floor roof is now complete. The construction is on, but it is about 2-3 months behind schedule.

The builders need to pull up their socks and get the construction back on track.

ICICI loan stopped

We have closed our home loan with ICICI and taken it from IOB. There were lot of problems with ICICI as I wrote here and the floating rate always seems to go up, but never come down.

IOB loan is a point lower than ICICI and then there is the added benefit of my account being taken care by my mom who works there.

Second Slab complete

Second slab is now complete. Third should be on its way soon.

Hope the global slowdown, and liquidity crunch don't put a spanner in Sanghvi Heights progress

First floor slab completed

The construction of Sanghvi Heights is running about 3-4 months behind schedule.

The floor of the first level (or roof of the ground floor) is in place. 3 more slabs should go in by March 2008.

The building was supposed to complete December 2008 as per verbal commitment and by June 2009 as per the final agreement papers. Seems like the builder will miss mid-2009 deadline by a long shot. The tentative completion period is last quarter of 2009.

Rate now is Rs. 7500 per sq feet. By March it is slated to rise to Rs. 8500.

Also of some 39 flats on the market (awaiting permission for the remaining) 27 have been sold.
